Had an awesome remote from 11a to 1p at ONE STOP in Burlington today. The Kansas Lottery was there selling World Class LaCrosse instant scratch tickets. I gave away tickets to the Renasunce and the Barnum and Bailey Circus in Kansas City. Oh Yea... we ate plenty of hot dogs and chips. Keeping checking our web site for upcoming events and pass the word that we are streaming on line, courtesy of Emporia Motors.

Today was the Dr. Nelson White Golf Classic at the Rock Creek Country Club in Burlington. Great turn out and awesome weather. Our Thanks to the folks at Rock Creek Country Club. Congradulations to Jim Kraft of Gridley, Kansas, as the key voucher winner for the tricked out, awesome, golf cart from Cooper Carts, Total Technology and Williams Automotive in Emporia. This is round one, so everyone go out and re-register for the next upcoming key voucher giveaway. We will be drawing for several key vouchers in the near future, then on October 23rd the final drawing for those key voucher winners. Someone will win the coolest Golf Cart on the planet. Incredible turn out for the ESU Block party, must have been a couple of thousand people there. See Photos. Then it was off to Natasha's which was packed. We gave away a ton of prizes! Friday's parade in Burlington was Cool and Hot at the same time. Good attendance for the parade despite the head. We got what looks the be a hot weather week ahead of us so be careful out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fillin' in for Rick Nash

The last couple of days I filled in on the Morning Disaster for my good friend Rick Nash. Poor guy, he's been suffering from "Sometimers Disease". Sometimes he makes it to work..... Sometimes he doesn't. Oh well, it's been fun. See you at the Coffey County Fair Parade Friday afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!

JUST AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE..... Peg, Lindzey and I had a great time at the Anderson Co. Fair and Parade. It's always fun to go to Garnett to meet with old friends and meet new ones. The fair is still happening so go and check out all the events!

MIDWEST ROCKFEST 2010

MIDWEST ROCKFEST was "KILLER". Lake Afton is a cool location for a concert and they had two huge stages. Alex H. and I attended Rockfest on Saturday and got to meet and visit backstage with Twisted Sister, Y&T, Jetboy, Winger, Bango Tango, Toxin, Kix and Black N Blue. Alex and I got the honor of introducing Y & T when they took the stage. CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS!. We had a little over an hour delay at one point due to a storm that passed over but everyone had a great time. The sound was incredible.
